Rafik was born and raised in Egypt. He is fluent in Arabic and speaks some French and Spanish. He also wants to learn Italian as he plans to visit Italy in the future.

He graduated from San Francisco State's school of Business majoring in Hospitality Managament with a concentration in Hotels and minor in Business Administration. He believes in hard work to get the desired results.

Rafik is passionate about computers, the internet, soccer, diving and horseback riding. He also loves to listen to light music, classical and Jazz.

His varied interests are what make him an interesting person to talk to.

Rafik’s favorite quote is "Treat others like you want to be treated."

In Arabic, Persian, Armenian and some African Dialects, Rafik means “friend” or companion.”

Hanna is short for Youhanna, which means John in Arabic.
